The Beltline Bonspiel is back in 2025!
Saturday, February 15, 2025
From 12:00PM through to 5:00PM
Located just off of 17th Avenue SW at 1520 4th Street SW, Calgary
The Beltline Bonspiel is a celebrated winter event that brings the local community
together and is rooted in Calgary’s proud curling heritage. We are excited to host the
Bonspiel amateur curling tournament where teams compete to win the Brewer's Trophy
(symbolically)! We are grateful to host the event this year at Calgary’s most iconic site on
4th St and 17th Ave SW, now owned by Vesta Properties. Something big is coming soon on this
iconic corner, in the heart of Beltline.
Vesta Properties is an integrated builder/developer, with over 7000 homes in award-
winning communities under their belt. Vesta is gearing up to transform this iconic
location in Calgary and this event is one of the first steps in building this community of
proud Calgarians.
The wonderful outdoor event brings together local Calgary teams with friendly competition and wil.
feature DJ Jonathan Crane, delicious local food, and craft beer. Local food purveyors Perogy
Boyz and Empanada Queen will be on-site and providing amazing eats. We are stoked to
have Establishment and Eighty-Eight Brewing, bringing a wonderful selection of craft
beverages. We will have water for sale, and coffee by donation at the BNA tent.
A Celebration of Local Craft Beer
In 1915, the Calgary Brewing and Malting Company (1892-1961) established the Brewery Trophy for curling. We honour that tradition by not only awarding the historic trophy at the Beltline Bonspiel but by celebrating local craft beer in our family-friendly rinkside beer garden featuring local Beltline breweries.
