Kids Programming

The 2018 Beltline Bonspiel is going to be pretty much like Disneyland for the wee ones. Check out the jam packed family programming below!

Family Curling Zone: On the main rink beside the Competition Sheet. Try your hand at curling!
Kids Winterland Zone: Build your own ice sculpture using ice cubes to mold together your very own sculpture.
Instant Snow: Make your own snow sculpture using a sodium acetate solution and a cookie cutter! Create an instant snow sculpture through a chemical reaction. Inside the Lougheed House in the Ballroom.
Face painting: City of Calgary programming leaders will have a station set up for face painting. Inside the Lougheed House in the Ballroom.
Balloon animals: City of Calgary programming leaders will facilitate balloon animal making. Inside the Lougheed House in the Ballroom.
Memorial Park Library music lessons: Memorial Park Library will have a selection of the instruments available on loan from the Musical Instrument Library for guests to interact with. The library also has a violin, guitar, and piano instructor on site to help guests experiment. Inside the Lougheed House in the Restoration Room.

Kids Story Times: Memorial Park Library will have a kids story time in the Restoration Room inside the Lougheed House.

Lougheed House Tours: Learn about the history of this beautiful house. A Lougheed House interpreter will lead tours through the house. Guests will have to sign up for these in advance, as we have a limited capacity for tours. Ask to sign up at the front desk.
